Take care of your filmer!

Summer is a time when skiers and snowboarders are mostly chillin’. But it is also a time when everybody needs to gather their footy for the upcoming videos and promos before the next winter.

Seppi Scholler and friends at Love are making their fourth full length video and I have send them Matevž Pristavec’s footy, so expect probably best part ever from MP also in the Loveolution IV! (Online right after Untouched project premieres ;))

What I did not expect was the coolest thankyou package from Seppi. I tought it is going to be some clothing, but it was way better. A Lomokino cam!

I love “toys” like that, instant shooting rules, haha. Me and my friend Luka Šmid filmed on VHS back in the days and I recently discovered my grandfathers 8mm (sadly not working), which hyped me to get my hands on this type of camera ever since… thanks bro, really appreciate it!

Dachstein Love week

Snow shootings are pretty much over, glacier season is on… it is chill time.

Love organized a team week on Dachstein and unfortunately I had no time to film with them this year, so I was hyped to see my friends after a long time. It was more or less sun bathing, beers and doing laps with homies. I am sort of fed up with parks at the end of every winter, yet I had a blast! Now, I even plan to get back soon as possible, haha.

Thanks Seppi for everything… Love podcast should be online in a week, so stay tuned!

Filming in Slovenian mountains

I am making it sort of annual to spent few days in Bovec in the last days of the season. I am not much of a park lover, so I skip Dachstein hype and leave for big mountains before summer finally takes over.

This time we even filmed some slush stuff for Untouched project and the rest of it was chilling and good times. You know it is the no stress weekend when Maček comes half drunk to a filming mission, haha.

Good crew, super hot days, beers and swimming mandatory… check loads of photos and a local eating shit on the slush kicker here

SchneeKoppe short

It is skateboarding season outside, we even started to work on the KDC miniramp again, which I just can not wait to be rebuilt… beers and BBQs with my homies there are always best times…

Yet I am still checking pow reports every morning. I just can not help myself, I know we can still film and that is this years program, period!

One of our main sponsors, SchneeKoppe, wanted a little insight on what the Untouched project was up to through the winter, so I made them a short commercial…

Winter is not over yet

T-shirts and spring sessions are full on, but it is not the time to store your big gun yet!

The Untouched crew is always powder hunting. We made a team trip to Austria with Grilo and Cilka Sadar, chasing after promised 35cm of fresh.

It turned out it was only half of that, but getting pow in middle of April is incredible enough. Judging by the forecast for next week there will still be plenty of opportunities!

Tons of pictures on Untouched blog

Bulgaria with the bosses

I am maybe not getting filthy rich with what I do, but I am for sure getting some sick travel opportunities!

After returning from Kosovo, I was at home for exactly two days, when Grilo gave me a call, if I would maybe like to join him on a trip to Bulgaria. Hell yeah I would like to join, the crazier the country the better!

I did not know who is coming, what we will be doing, not even if there are any serious mountains… so the surprise was even bigger. The crew was Stevie Bell, MFM and Aaron Bittner with the Snowboardermag photographers E-Stone and T-Bird. I got a little starstruck to be honest, I never thought I will be filming with the bosses of snowboarding… ever, haha.

The mountains there are banging, we just did not have the best conditions. Like Stevie said: “With a heli and 2 feet of fresh, you could fuck shit up right here!”. The peaks and valleys are filled with cullies, kicker spots and random features. We all agreed if you hit it just right, you could film a sick videopart in matter of few weeks.

We tried to get something done pretty much every day… we hiked for turns and lines… we build slush corners… we hit some rails… and we partied a lot, haha.

It was the best possible crew, everybody chilled and always up to something, not to mention the amount of laughter on a daily basis. These guys really know how to have a good time!

Thanks to Andrey Balevski and his girls, they really put a lot of effort to show us around, not just the mountain side, but also the Bulgarian culture, cuisine and lifestyle… thanks to Grilo for taking me with him and dealing with all my luggage problems… and special thanks to Bobby Green for the funniest moment of the trip… he thought he was so baked that seeing Stevie in a local bar is a halucination! Cheech and Chong adventures, haha!

Make sure to catch the Snowboardermag report somewhere in autumn, the story will be out of space!
